For this year’s Lust List Atlanta, we decided to run with three variations of the cover. These are zoned covers which means readers will see the three covers in different areas throughout the city of Atlanta. Creatively, they share the same design approach and same headline treatment to build the complete series. I think it’s a very cool way to be creative in regards to distribution this way – and Lust List lends itself nicely to this.

This ad is a great representation of a new loft community. I was carefully to choose photos that represented a variety of potential home owners. The client wanted to maintain a trendy urban look while also appealing to the young professional.

Charlotte’s Lust List featured one of the winners of this year’s ladies-only edition. The cover design intentionally plays off beauty magazines with soft colors and the same vibe was also carried into the inside cover package that was executed by Valery. It makes for a perfect match of inside & outside even though two different designers worked on it.

This was given to us by DC and needed to be done very quickly (one hour). All I had to work with were the pics of the cars and the logo. No reference of any kind for this one. I just pulled elements from the logo for the copy and colors, and I think it came out quite nice.

We had some debate when creating this ad, and went through numerous revisions and layouts. It took a while to agree on a clear vision. In the end we kept it simple, leaving the concept to reveal itself. The map was slightly pixelated but finding the old style of Tampa Bay was difficult, so we made it work.
